Funny Story From a Game:
I usually blog about more informational topics, however, I thought this story would be great to share! As you all know, we recently just had a huge homecoming pep rally, which also took weeks of planning; reds to our SGA. Anyways, back to the story, at the pep rally there were hundreds of fans and students and, well, Tigers!!! However, one tiger particularly stood out to me and the rest of the fans who attended. There was an elderly man, probably around the age of 80, who happened to be a die hard Auburn fan! He showed up, being dropped off by his retirement home bus, with a walker/chair. But, he did not come alone. Sitting on the seat of his walker was a Tiger. Originally, I was baffled, being that I was afar from him. Why was this old man carrying a real life Tiger with him and why did he bring this Tiger to a pep rally with hundreds of people?!?! As I walked closer to him, I began to see things more clearly. I was about 10 yards away from the man when his Tiger pounced. This Tiger, not fully grown, jumped off the walker and ran. However, he did not just run away. He ran towards me! The Tiger tackled me, and as you can picture, I was terrified because I though I was about to be mauled by a real life TIGER! I closed my eyes and hoped for the best, which i certainly received. All of a sudden, this tiger started licking me and..... barking. Turns out, it was never a tiger. Just an extremely well painted Golden Retriever. Also turns out that I need a pair of glasses!
Great Job to the Auburn Tigers and shout out to all of our awesome fans who came out to the pep rally and the game!
Well that definitely doesn't happen everyday.
